A Brief History of Our Church

Chinese Christian Family Church, Inland Valley

Some twenty-five years ago, a group of Chinese Christians, who loved the Lord started a Bible class in the City of Los Angeles.  As God added to their number, this group developed into a church a few years later.  According to the Scriptures, the Church is the household of God and that all believers are brothers and sisters in Christ.  Holding fast to that truth, this group named their church the Chinese Christian Family Church.

In 1984, they purchased a church building at 115 S. Marengo Avenue in the City of Alhambra.  This building served as a place of worship and fellowship for these believers.  Their vision was to spread the Gospel of Jesus and build a strong body of believers.  As a result the Lord continued to bless them in the coming years.  Early 1991, after much prayer, they set out to plant a church in the City of Ontario; as there was great need to provide a place of worship for Chinese believers.  This is the origin of the Chinese Christian Family Church, Inland Valley.

After many years of leasing different church facilities, by the goodness of the Lord, in April of the year 2000 we finally purchased a church building of our own.  This location, 8619 Baker Avenue in Rancho Cucamonga, is where we have a vision to grow and to share the love of God.  We use both the Mandarin and English languages in all our meetings.  We have several Sunday School classes of different age levels.  In addition, we hold a separate Junior Worship Service and a Nursery.

It is our belief that the Bible is the Word of God, the very standard by which the Church should conduct worship and by which the individual Christian should live.  It is also our belief that the Church is the household of God and the body of Christ.  The mission of the Church is, in part, to witness to these truths.

Therefore the purpose of this church is twofold.  One, to equip believers through worship, bible study, prayer, and fellowship.  Two, to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ in obedience to His Great commission.
